City come here after beating Man United 4-1 in their last league game. Pep Guardiola’s side have a 3 point lead over Liverpool and will be looking to get that gap back to 6 points and turn up the pressure on Liverpool who are away to inform Arsenal in midweek. Palace are in 11th spot and will be targeting a top half finish. Patrick Viera’s side are unbeaten in their last 4 games in all competitions and beat Wolves last time out. Palace actually won 2-0 away at The Etihad when the sides met earlier this season, so they will be looking to do the double over the reigning Champions. City had Laporte sent off in that game and I feel there could be some bad blood left over from what was a pretty rough game when these sides last met, and I expect City to be desperate to get some revenge here. City know that title rivals Liverpool have a very tough midweek trip to Arsenal, so a win here would really put the pressure on Jurgen Klopp’s side. So there are plenty of reasons for City to be bang up for this and I struggle to see Palace leaving with anything. Viera is building something at Palace and with home advantage I expect them to have their moments, but I see City controlling much of this game and coming away witha  pretty routine win. Any game with City is good for betting on corners, but I also expect Palace to have a few and on a small compact ground like Selhurst Park I feel we could have quite a few Corners here. I expect a couple of cards, but bookings is risky as should City score a couple of early goals then the game could become quite slow. Of you are backing cards then the longer that Palace stay in the game the better, as the crowd are sure to be loud in support for their team. I see City scoring 3 or 4 goals as they take revenge on Palace, who have their moments but at the end of the day are just outclassed by Pep’s side.

City to win 4-0 – 14/1 Bet365 (1 point)

A goal in each half and 3+ corners in each half – 5/4 Skybet (3 points)

14+ match corners – 4/1 Skybet (1 point)

City to score 3+ goals – 6/4 Skybet (3 points)
