Championship stats and best bets – Saturday 12th February

Although the best bets in this write up are backed up by statistics they are not certainties and still could lose. I will use the statistics to point out likely events in these games, and the best bets are the types of bets that I believe stand a good chance of coming in. The best bets will vary in price as this is a case of taking what the stats give us, rather than trying to force bets for the sake of it. I will be as transparent as possible in each write up about why I feel each bet is best bet material. All bets are rated on a 1-3 points system of how strong we believe the chance of it happening is, with 3 being the strongest. This is just an indication of my confidence and should not be taken as advice on what amount to place on a bet, you should only bet what you can afford to lose.

Hull vs Fulham

Hull average 5.23 corners per game and 5.27 per home game. Fulham average 6.17 corners per game and 5.38 per away game.I will also throw a goals angle into one bet as Fulham games have been seeing a lot of goals lately.

A goal in each half and 3+ corners in each half – 6/4 Skybet (3 points)

11+ match corners – 6/4 Skybet (2 points)

2+ corners each team in each half – 4/1 Skybet (1 point)

Millwall vs Cardiff

Millwall have played 28 games this season scoring 29 and conceding 32 with 17 games having both teams score and 10 over 2.5 goals. Cardiff have played 29 games, scoring 35 and conceding 48 with 15 games having both teams score and 14 over 2.5 goals. I won’t be playing over 2.5 goals in this one as Millwall games don’t tend to have a lot of goals, but they do consistently see both sides score. 8 of Millwall’s 13 home league games have had both teams score and 9 of Cardiff’s 15 away league games have had both teams score.

Both teams to score – 21/20 Quinnbet (2 points)

1-1 correct score – 11/2 bet365 (1 point)

Reading vs Coventry

Reading average 3.62 corners per game and 3.60 per home game. Coventry average 6.64 corners per game and 6.62 per away game, so it looks extremely likely that Coventry will take the most corners.

Coventry most corners – 8/11 Skybet (3 points)
